Cataract surgery performed in the glaucoma patient. requires pre-planning as well as consideration of intra-operative and post-operative factors.  The surgery is more complex due to higher surgical risks from raised intraocular pressure and previous procedures.  With good management these patients can achieve optimal outcomes in terms of vision and intraocular pressure control.
