By submitting a video, the author:
- Retains full copyright of the video/photo.
- Gives the iop.vision the right to post it on the iop.vision website and reuse the video in any manner the iop.vision wishes.
- Agrees that all content in the video/photo is their original work.
- Has written consent from any patient that is individually identifiable to publish the video/photo on the Internet.
- Has permission to use any included images, video, or audio in the submitted work.
Videos should be up to 5 minutes in duration.
Videos must be accompanied by an English narration, with high quality voiceover.
Remove all patient-identifying elements to ensure confidentiality.
Accepted video formats include .mov, .mpg, .mp4, .avi, and .wmv.
Accepted photo formats include .jpg, .tif, .png (Minimum resolution 4x3”, 300 dpi)
Standard videos should be provided in horizontal format (16:9 preferred) and higher definition up to 1080p.
Files up to 50MB are accepted.
Include any financial disclosures relevant to the video either in the video or in the text description provided with the video.
Avoid background music, movie clips, or animations that may be distracting to viewers or violate copyrighted content.
